HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody! I was so ill for the last week of December and
the first week of January that I was seriously in bed all day and night long. L
Oh a happier note, I have done tons of post season shopping and I
decided to change my skin care routine for this year which I will share with
you on my blog today.
I now shifted to KIEHL’S for skin care and it has been 8 days already. I
visited the store at Phoenix Market city in Kurla, Mumbai and browsed through
the entire store. I knew what I wanted, a good night cream as the current one
that I am using is almost over (Clinique Super Rescue Antioxidant Night
Moisturizer).
I ended up buying the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate and the
Ultra Facial Cleanser and I was in two minds to buy the Ultra Facial
moisturizer & Midnight recovery eye cream, hence the lovely lady at the
store gave me a sample of both to try out before I make a decision! Talk about
genuine sales skills.
I have to admit, the products I purchased were fairly expensive,
approximately INR 5500 for 2 skin care items but after using it I know it would
last me for over a year as a little goes a long way and I kid
you not…it’s scary what 2 drops of the concentrate can cover (face & neck!!!).
So it’s like an investment that you wouldn't have to worry about for the whole
year, if not more.
My skin is slightly sensitive so I wasn't surprised with the breakout I
had after day 1 of using the Ultra facial cleanser and the midnight recovery
concentrate, but today I have much clearer skin and I can totally see the
difference on my face. Glowing skin indeed! I LOVE IT! With that being said,
Kiehl’s is definitely going to take over my skin care regime for 2013! Can’t
wait to buy their moisturizer, I’m sold.
If your looking for a good, fresh and youthful change in your skin, I
highly recommend the Midnight recovery concentrate because it is so gentle, it’s
oil free, suitable for all skin types and the scent includes essential oils
that actually help you sleep at night. #winning
The Ultra facial cleanser is also so gentle and brilliant, with a little
product you can cleanse your entire face and it doesn't dry out your skin like
most cleansers.
And don’t be afraid if you’re a guy and you want to try out their
skincare. Seriously there’s nothing better on a man than great skin!
Visit the store and have a look to see what suits your skin, hair, body
and I know without a doubt, you’ll be over the moon!
