Restaurant Review: Ci Gusta, Bandra West

Located opposite National College on Bandra Link Road, Bandra West here's 5 reason's why you have to try this place.

1) For their Ci Gusta Favorite Sweet Crepe <3
2) For their Ci Gusta Favorite Sweet Crepe <3
3) For their Ci Gusta Favorite Sweet Crepe <3
4) For their Ci Gusta Favorite Sweet Crepe <3
5) For their Ci Gusta Favorite Sweet Crepe <3

And if those 5 reasons weren't good enough, this very cosy restaurant has some dangerously delicious items on their menu. Everything I tried on the menu such as the Crepe Bretonne (crepe with ham, cheese), the Aglio Olio Pepperoncino ci pasta, Penne alla Alfredo, their sinful shakes and smoothies, flavored yogurt and their TO-DIE-FOR Ci Gusta Favorite sweet crepe is all so god damn mind-blowingly delicious!

In addition, their menu is very decently priced making it very affordable to go eat there every day of the week! No really! Oh well at-least for the Ci Gusta Favorite crepe...ok I'll stop.

Do drop by if your in and around Bandra and if the above recommendations don't intrigue you, go out and dare yourself to a whole new adventure of Italian food.

Product Review: Keratek Morocco Argan Oil & BIODERMA Make-up Remover

I had been reading all about these next two products and FINALLY found them in Mumbai yaay! And I can't stop raving about it, it's definitely a must have for every girl's vanity.

Starting with , the BIODERMA Make up cleanser.

I picked mine from a 24 Hour Chemist in Juhu, Mumbai. Priced at INR 750/- you get decent product in a 250 ml bottle. I have to say this is 'THE BEST' make-up remover I have ever used. With 2 drops in a cotton pad it removes all make-up (even water-proof) without drying your skin and it is fragrance free so it's like using magical water that leaves your skin super clean!
Product Rating: 5/5

Next is the Morocco Argan Oil for Hair by Keratek Professional.

This hair serum is unlike any other hair serums I've used. I picked mine from Alpha in Irla, Mumbai but it is also available at the Beauty Center at Khar. It is overly priced at INR 1200/- compared to other drugstore hair serums like L'oreal or Dove but then this is a professional product and DOES make your hair look like you've just stepped out of the salon. What I do is use 2 pumps of the product on my damp hair and blow dry it. If like me, you have fine hair, it will wear your hair down as it is heavy however, it gets rid of all the dryness and makes your hair look more voluminous and shiny! Totally worth every rupee spent and because you use so little of it, it would last you for about 6 months minimum.
Product Rating : 5/5

These two products have by far been the best products I have bought for this year and I would TOTALLY recommend them for all hair & skin types.

Happy Shopping!

Play Review: Nothing Like Lear

Inspired from Shakespeare's King Lear, Nothing Like Lear is an interesting play directed by the very talented Rajat Kapoor

Enacted by Vinay Pathak who plays the part of a depressed clown who complains about his daughter leaving him for this material world and it's daily calling. He jokes and cries about other issues like ageing, today's modern family problems and suddenly in a second he brilliantly captures the audience in a series of dark moments by reciting scripts from Shakespeare's King Lear. The transformation of Vinay Pathak from clowning with the audience to educating them about real theater is beyond fascinating. A true actor.

My personal opinion: I'm not a big fan of clowns they frighten me since childhood. Even though I did go see another brilliant play
'C for Clown' again by Rajat Kapoor with Vinay Pathak acting as one of the clowns; Nothing Like Lear got me laughing, thinking, serious, laughing, jaw dropping, laughing, serious and applauding in the end.

Huge props to Vinay Pathak for doing a solo act for almost 2 hours, no breaks/interval, with no chair to sit on, with a sip or 2 of water and engaging the audience with his one of this kind acting.

Genre: English / Gibberish

My rating : 3/5
Venue : Prithvi Theatre

VALENTINE'S DAY FOR THE SINGLE HEARTED

Sorry I've been missing for a while, had a 'Sweet Tweet' reminder that it's about time I blogged again :)

Valentine's Day is around the corner and what perfect timing to Blog. (While I listen to So much love to give - Fedde Le Grand to pump me up haha)

So this is for all those singles who look at Hallmark/Archies stores and make a yucky face getting sick with all the red lovey-dovey stuff. You can have a fun Valentine's Day too...and I'll show you how.

Step 1: Indulge in yourself. You could take yourself out for a change and spend hours pampering yourself and doing things you love.

OR

Send love some-single-one else's way.

Step 1: Pick a single friend. Not someone your attracted to or flirt with, then that's dating a.k.a your not really completely single then are you?
Step 2: Take a pen and paper and jot down a few fun things you'd wanna do with that person. (No pun intended) Keep in mind this year Valentine's Day falls on a weekday so plan after 6:00 p.m please :)
Step 3: Go old school. Bring flowers & chocolates/gift. Everyone loves flowers. If they deny it...they're lying.
Step 4:  GO TO THE COMEDY STORE. Or something on that front where you have a good time without feeling love sick.
Step 5: Don't have Dinner at a restaurant. Instead pick a cool cafe.
Step 6: If your night ends there, make sure you thank him/her for hanging out with you. There's nothing more fun than great company really.

I personally have got 2 special single's I plan to do something for....threesome much??? hahaha I kid.

- I've got so much love to give. So much Love - Fedde Le Grand.
